The Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics, held a workshop entitled "The Needs of the Student Teacher in Mathematics." The workshop was presented by Dr. Khalid Abdul-Ilah, Dr. Zainab Jamil (Director of the Educational Guidance Unit), and Dr. Salman Dawood (from the Directorate of Education). Several guidance topics were addressed, most notably: effective classroom management techniques, the process of writing lesson plans, and the fundamentals of teaching mathematics.
