The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized an awareness workshop on breast cancer, focusing on prevention and the importance of early detection.
The workshop—presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Lama Ahmed Abdullah, an oncology specialist, in collaboration with a group of faculty members—aimed to promote health awareness and highlight the significance of early detection in improving treatment outcomes and recovery prospects.
The session covered risk factors, key signs and symptoms, and methods for early detection, while emphasizing the importance of regular screenings and consulting specialists if any unusual changes are observed.
This workshop is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to foster health awareness and promote a culture of prevention among its female staff and students.
